Bo and Julie have an amazing home on Friends Lake perfect for any vacation. Our family had the most wonderful time getting to experience a little piece of heaven in Chestertown. Bo and Julie were great hosts always making sure we had everything we needed in addition to having some great recommendations on things to do. They had some amazing amenities that we were able to use. Some fan favorites being the paddle boards, kayaks, ping pong table and jacuzzi. We were also very excited to rent their boat for a day getting to water ski, tube and go on a sunset cruise which was perfect for all ages. In addition, it is a short drive to Lake George for some evening fun. Camp Sunnyside was more than we could have imagined. Thank you Bo and Julie for a family vacation we won’t forget!

We had the most wonderful stay at Bo & Julie’s gorgeous waterfront home. Everything was as described in the listing. The property and houses were even more beautiful in person than the photos. The lake access and all the thoughtful amenities including the kayaks, fire wood and outside kitchen, helped make our stay feel extra special. We had the best time and hope to be able to return to this beautiful and private slice of heaven on Friend’s Lake.

Camp Sunnyside is the greatest place on earth for my family and I. We've spent decades at Friends Lake and have had to find a new location but we have been blessed to find Camp Sunnyside. It's peaceful, beautiful, and a real treasure of the Adirondacks. There are several spaces to be with friends and family and equally as many for some quiet time alone with a good book or rest. You can water ski, fish, swim, or float in the crystal clear water of Friends Lake. The property is immaculate and the houses give you everything you need to feel at home. A week filled with delightfulness. Camp Sunnyside has all the amenities, was very clean, and accommodating for 13 adults and 2 babies. Some favorite events were smores over the camp fire, yard games, and my favorite, sunset boat ride cruising around Friends lake. Camp Sunnyside was the perfect place for our extended family vacation! The location is perfect and there were plenty of open spaces to relax or play games in the yard. The lake is beautiful and clear and there was a nice shallow, sandy area for the kids to play in the water. The houses were comfortable and contained everything we needed for our stay. Everything was spotless and there was plenty of room for our entire family with spaces to spend time together or quiet time apart. There was a lot to do in the area and we were able to complete a few short hikes close by. We will definitely be returning!

We had three generations enjoy a week at Camp Sunnyside. It’s your own large beautiful secluded lake front property. We saw and heard loons daily. Our 2-year-old grandson caught his first fish. Nothing better than watching the sunset in the peace and quiet of the Adirondacks with a campfire and s’mores. This place is even better than the remarkable photos!
