Ski, tube, or cruise with the boat available for rent or explore the lake at a slower pace with complimentary kayaks. Stay by the water for sunset views and roast marshmallows at the built-in firepit.

Friends Lake, an Adirondack hidden gem

Escape the noise and bustle of busier vacation towns and recharge at the secluded and tranquil Friends Lake. This private-access-only lake boasts some of the cleanest and calmest waters in New York State. With year-round activities including water sports, fishing (and ice fishing), hiking, snowshoeing and snowmobiling, enjoy Camp Sunnyside as a 4 season lakefront destination. Explore spectacular area hikes and charming mountain towns or ski at nearby Gore Mountain all from a comfortable home-away-from-home at the lake.
